Though we have been taught since childhood that cheating is wrong, even one of the most brilliant minds of the 20th century, Albert Einstein, was of the opinion that the only way to win at roulette is by stealing the money when the dealer is not looking. While playing the roulette game, the sleight of hand includes playing with 4 players. So, three of the players play the same value of bets with their bets placed on different colours. In casino roulette, the sections and the numbers that are bet on by the 3 players are also chosen to be different. The main plan was that the first player would bet on the first dozen numbers extending from 1 to 12, the second player was covering the numbers 13 to 24 and the third one was responsible for placing the bets on 25 to 36. So as a whole, there are 6 bets divided among the total layout of the wheel with every stack containing the same value of chips.
When even one of them won, their winning was stacked and they earned at a ratio of 35 to 1 making it a huge win. The losing chips made up of only a small part of the total winnings the spin. The 5 losing stacks of chips could not exceed the winning of the 1 stack. In the event that none of them won, the player closest to the winning number would slide his stack to the winning number while the casino roulette wheel was still spinning but before the dolly could be placed on the stacks.

From the above story, there are 2 main conclusions. One, the players were smart enough to cheat so easily and the second, the dealer was not careful enough. The fact is that this trick of cheating is what invented the dolly system. The casinos were smart enough to catch on to these tricks and have since started to put the dolly on the chips so that they cannot be moved until the dealer wants to. So apparently, more advanced ways of cheating are responsible for the creation of more creative rules of playing the game.
